He encontrado restos de los mosaico hidraúlicos y Nolla que pavimentaron hace muchos años casas de nuestras ciudad. El Somorrostro aparece ya citado en 1882. Hacia 1950, 18.000 personas vivían en el barrio, habitando unas 1400 barracas. En las barracas las condiciones de vida eran muy precarias...
