Nolla Catalogues of centenarian mosaics
The mosaic of gres monochrome consists in a special type of loseta ceramic in whose manufacture take part able selected clays of vitrificar to low temperature. The nature of the material allows the polishing with stones of abrasive texture spending of thick grains to grains finer.
Miguel Nolla, of Valencian origin, applied geometrical designs to his baldosines. The most known forms are the square, hexagonal and octogonales in measures that go from 19 to 100 mm.
